Maureen has over 15 years of experience with a local and regional CPA firm providing accounting training, accounting conversions, tax planning, tax preparation, payroll, and bookkeeping services. Since 1998 she has worked with individuals and businesses with sales of up to $10 million providing advice and assistance on entity choice, entity conversion, workers compensation, sales tax, state nexus issues, sale of a business, federal, state, and CDTFA tax audits. She is an enrolled agent with a Masters in Taxation.
Maureen has worked with the Small Business Development Center for over four years, consulting startup and existing businesses. She has worked with clients on improving their financial reporting, inventory management, cash flow projections, and business plans. I have assisted clients with QuickBooks, installation, and customization of 3rd party applications that sync with QuickBooks, payroll issues, tax compliance, and tax planning issues.
